Dog rescues come in all shapes and sizes, but when you find yourself saving a dog who might in fact be a reincarnation of the very dog you just helped cross the rainbow bridge, how do you handle the monumental moment of pawtentionally getting your best friend back? Find out how this brave rescuer did so and won back the soul that made her whole.

As in many dog rescue stories this one begins with an incoming storm and pupper who sought shelter. Not a totally uncommon occurrence for a house doggo who is used to running indoors when things get nasty outside. But as time wore on and these two became acquainted while the storm passed the rescuer started to notice something. That this dog was not in fact a house pupper with a loving family but a dog that was used to make more puppies and make their pawrents rich. Her sweet and kind demeanor and her disheveled appearance gave her away and gave way to the notion that the pair might stay together.

Something that was immensely strengthened when out of nowhere this dog began acting just like the rescuer's past pupper who had left this world not too long ago. At first it was subtle things like a look or a mannerism, but with just a little bit of time the parallels were apparent and our rescuer's heart poured open as the recently healed hole where her soul dog once lived reopened.

  • Wow, this truly is an interesting case. As our rescuer mentions many doggos do get loose due to the panic that the 4th of July can cause them. But for such an amount of time to pass with no one recognizing or claiming the pup you have to wonder how far this doggo might have wandered from its home, if at all it has one to speak off. Either way the chances of this doggo having her pawrents found are getting slimmer with each passing hour. Luckily, one might say that the universe has grander plans for this pup.

  • Well, this is sounding not only like a likely story but also one that is all too common. Breeding doggos are very used to hoomans and even given slightly better treatment than their fighting counterparts but still do not enjoy the life a dog is supposed to live. They are not allowed to run free, they do not play, they simply serve their owners by bringing them more income. Leaving them often gentle in nature and hungry for love. So it is a good thing that she has ended up in the arms of someone who will truly love her.
